Help Support The Alzheimer’s Association!
One of our regular students Dakota Link (Activities Director for Eden Court) is helping those living with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. Eden Court is Commonwealth Assisted Living’s premier Sweet Memories community and the Peninsula’s only stand-alone Memory Care community, designed specifically to care for residents experiencing Alzheimer’s, memory loss and dementia (http://www.commonwealthal.com/communities/virginia/hampton/eden-court-assisted-living). They will be holding a fundraising event where all proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association.
This is a call out to all of our friends and family in the ArtInspired Community for help and support. The event will be on June 9th from 8am on, and Eden Court is asking for donations of any type that you are able to provide: old furniture, unused yard-sale-type items, and baked goods to sell at their fundraiser.
We will be accepting items in-studio until Thursday, June 7th to donate to Eden Court in your name, and would love to see you all at the fundraiser, sharing with the community and helping a great cause! Join us in our continued efforts to help end Alzheimer’s!
TOO CUTE Photo Contest – Details, rules, and contest entry information.
We are providing a 30 minute session for up to 4 children ($65 minimum, $20 per extra child)
Children should wear neutral colors, but not flesh tones. Keep in mind that clothes with logos, stripes, and busy designs draw the eye away from the face. If there is an outfit that has sentimental value, that is the best choice.
Parents should be photo-ready in neutral colors that are darker than the children’s clothes.
It’s a great idea to bring a child’s favorite toy along not only to help them feel more comfortable, but the interaction between the child and the toy can make for beautiful pictures.
Extra clothes are always suggested too, just in case.
All sessions are shot at the ArtInspired studio. The package comes with a DVD of high resolution JPEG proofs, 2 5×7 and 4 4×6 prints.
You are getting a great value because ArtInspired Photographers are dedicated to capturing moments, not just “taking pictures”. We know each client is looking for something unique and personalized. Everyone has a story to share and we want to help share it through quality, well crafted images mastered by artists.
What are the contest details and how do I enter?
Each person booked during this promotion will automatically have their child’s image entered in the contest (with consent,of course).
Only one photo may be entered per session. Photos of siblings together are accepted.
The quick session special price is $65

Come help support local artists by attending our May art show! This will be the last show until fall, so come out and see our artists! Check out the pieces, meet with the artist, and enjoy light refreshments with friends and community members.

Calling all artists!
ArtInspired is looking for artists interested in displaying their work at our next art exhibit. We focus on supporting our local artist community and would love to give you more exposure for your work! We have a multitude of daily traffic to help expose your art to all types of consumers. We will be accepting all forms of hanging art – paintings, drawings, photographs, etc. There will be a hanging fee of $35 to cover up to three pieces. If you are interested please email artinspiredcourtney@gmail.com with your contact information to receive an entry form. Due to limited hanging availability, please send for your entry form as early as possible.

Join us for an old-fashioned swing lesson at our upcoming Sock Hop Art Show!!
View our most recent art exhibit showcasing talented pieces from local artists and take a lesson in the art of swing dancing. Light snacks and refreshments will be offered for your pleasure.
The gallery will be open for viewing from 7:30-9pm. At 8pm, enjoy a lesson in the 50’s style of swing dancing from instructor Marilen Crump. Bring your poodle skirt and socks and have a rockin’ time with us!

Oh January just flew by and now welcome FEBRUARY with our fantastic line up of fun, fun and more fun!
Today we will not be holding our ART SHOW due to delivery conflicts with some of our artists pieces. So onto Feb. and you can display too if you are interested.
